Amazing gRace day 5

So we don't have Internet tonight so I am updating this from my iPhone so we will see how well this works.

Today we went to help with The Kid's Connection in Cashmere, Wa. The Kid's Connection is a clothing closet for youth in foster care around North central Washington. The youth went through donated clothing. They sorted based on what they thought the kids would like and what they wouldn't like. Then they had a sidewalk sale with the clothes that they didn't want to keep.

The clothing closet is free for any child in foster care they really want to provide trendy clothing for these youth so they feel like they fit in.

Diane really has a passion for foster care youth and is doing so much in her community. We felt blessed to be a part of it.

Today was extremely hot and we spent a lot of it in the sun. When we finished helping out we quickly headed to the local city pool to cool off.

The youth then received their next clue which sent them to Yakima. Along the way they were instructed to stop at the Wild Horses Monument in Vantage. Team Holy Crosses was the only team to hike to the top.

The teams decided that they wanted to eat dinner together before heading to the pit stop so they met up at a local Mexican restaurant. It was great to see the youth caring more about each other then racing to the finish line.
