Silverwood Days

In the past we have spent only one day at Silverwood during the summer.  This year we decided to split it up and take the elementary school youth one day and the Jr. High and High School youth a week later.  Overall we ended up taking 32 youth.  We had so much fun that we never stopped to take any pictures.  The weather was fantastic for the elementary age youth.  The youth and adults spent most of the day at Boulder Beach and only ventured over to the rollercoasters for a short time.  On the other hand the weather was quite a bit cooler when the older youth went so they spent most of their day riding all the crazy scary rides.  I think a lot of the youth never even stepped foot inside Boulder Beach.  They were two great days and I can't wait till next year when we get to return again.

Jr. High Camping Trip

Well I have been incredibly busy and constantly out of town and have not had time to update the blog with the rest of Summer 2010's youth events.  So here goes.  On July 26th eight 7th and 8th graders headed to Lake Chelan State Park for four days of camping.  It was an extremely fun trip.  We spent the days swimming, boating, playing cards, playing in the creek next to the campsite and sitting around the fire.  We even left the campgrounds one day and headed to Slide Waters, the local water park.  Here are some pictures from the trip
